You are one of the lucky ones . Still .... no-one on here uses the EMU as it is inferior to reflashing the stock ECU . So you would be lucky to find a decent map here.

If mod's would be so kind, maybe this info could be moved up earlier...

^ Smart idea... I still think its easier to run a line up to Pre-TB somewhere (tee into jet air line) and account for all the pressure drops through the IC and piping.

And hey! Aren't you parting that thing out?? :)

Thanks! And I am actually. I think this is a better spot for boost control and flow although it would result in maybe a bit less of a psi. I would actually use the other bolt for the anti wet port line - a hot jet of air would be great for fuel economy!

That is a boost leak waiting to happen IMO. And I have been there with the scavenge pump due to my old turbo setup positioning the drain in an a less than ideal position, it is not worth the hassle, with the traditional Greddy setup using the T618Z a scavenge pump is not needed at all.

What makes you say that?

I just don't think the washers will seal and prevent a leak at full boost. I could be wrong but installing a proper hose barb on the compressor discharge pipe is easy, it's best not to over complicate things.

The washer has an inner rubber seal - this is how audi does it without a rubber seal on their OEM turbos and they run 14 psi from the factory.

If anything, this should hold better!

Maybe, hopefully.

With the same arguement the hose can pop off!

I think this is a much better alternative to drilling and welding.

Better for flow, hose can be made much shorter and more reliable.

Dare I say: this is what greddy could have done.

The hose candy hose I use will break before it blows off but even so I add a zip tie for extra measure. But yeah lot's of ways to do it.
