uh--- i dont have that kind of problem. I dont know why--but mine does well in traffic etc. I do run the act pro lite flywheel and I have the s2 trans with the 4:44 diff. I do idle at 1.1K
I have been thinking about changing because of the rapid lost of rpms while shifting during DD.
i probably will not change it out for a while--but just thinking about it.

I'm sure all that SC drag taking away what little torque you have at low rpm has no contribution

Yes .... can't see any drawbacks with running the 5 speed in this application

once you are pass 100 mph--that 5th gear will kill you
Just buy smaller tires

aero gets significant after about 100mph. Gets really significant after 120mph. Now this is on just the GT model without any oem or aftermarket aero body parts.
I run out of 5th gear on the track ( I shift at 8.2K/tires 245/35/18) and when I shift to 6th--it just slows big time. But to tell you truth i dont like just the oem body after 135mph. It needs help.

/\ It's not like i'm tracking it much these days anyway . For what i'm using it for ... it's great ! I will say this though - the 5 speed box doesn't feel as nice as the 6 .

It says 2nd gear WOT but judging by the 60mph+ he's right it's probably 3rd
