Blitz Supercharge

i may get the blitz supercharge ....anyone know much about this Brand and this supercharge system??? i did a search and confirm no body here got the blitz supercharge installed.....opinion welcome.

Someone in the far east forum has done this supercharger...If I wasn't
mistaken it should give around 50hp improvement but I think it is
the torque of the car that has a more significant gain...There is also
supposed to be an on/off switch for u to switch off your supercharger
when u don't really need it...that's abt all I know abt this supercharger...
hope it helps...

Brettus 06-12-2006 04:32 PM

Hi Rotor - are you aware of the Rotormaster SC from aussie ?
Good for 270 rwhp . There are some write ups on it here .

Nemesis8 06-12-2006 04:34 PM

An on/off switch?

dillsrotary 06-12-2006 05:04 PM

haha an on/off switch like mad max?

guitarjunkie28 06-12-2006 05:33 PM

i was just gonna say like madd max :p:

FASTNMEAN8 06-12-2006 06:01 PM

I'll just wait for Hymee to complete his!!! I'm waiting anxiously!!

Marlew 06-12-2006 06:16 PM

Don't Hold your breath my friend ,After 2 years and no kit ,has to tell you something . There are too many issues with this IMHO.
Turbos have the runs on the board ,just ask Mazda Maniac ,his system has been in use for close to two years and took him two weeks to design from scratch !
My $0.02

rotarygod 06-12-2006 10:04 PM

So suddenly that means that a supercharger can't work? Guys like Hymee and Richard are doing all of this on their own and are working for the day when they can release a kit. Even some of the turbo kits are only just now coming out. Turbos have only had the run of the board because Greddy rushed their kit to market, flaws and all and then people have been slowly fixing them.

(My favorite comparison) FWIW: Edison went through over 800+ different types of lightbulb before he made one work. Thank god he didn't use your logic and just give up after a while because there were "too many issues". Candles had their run up until that point. I guess we should still be using them. A completely new design concept from scratch and his persistence paid off. That has to tell you something.

dillsrotary 06-12-2006 10:11 PM

i've been seeing advertisements for the blitz supercharger for about a year and a half now in import tuner, turbo, etc. i say let them take their time and do it right, that way when my warranty ends i won't buy something right away that'll blow the motor.

Red Devil 06-13-2006 08:19 AM

Since the projected numbers between Pettit and Blitz seem to be about the same, I think I'd take the Pettit unit, then again we have yet to be able to make a price comparison.

Thx "dillsrotary" "Brettus"and everyone for the opinion.... i bought the blitz sc kit second hand from japan ..... hope nothing go wrong and i will report the result... thx

Excuse my ignorance but what is the Rotormaster SC? Is it a supercharger that is available now?

I'll start searching!

IZoomZoomI 06-13-2006 01:43 PM

^^ it's a centrifugal s/c that I believe is released in australia, and costs a pretty coin.

Once in a while if you really want to s/c you can actually buy the kit from ebay (blitz s/c kit). Supposedly it doesn't involve using any piggyback system and just goes of your stock untuned ecu. Power enterprise reported that they were doing this with there s/c and has no problems with it.

Red Devil 06-13-2006 01:53 PM

^^^
I wasn't aware the blitz is without an ECU upgrade. That's pretty interesting. Can't wait to hear how it goes, Rotor.

This is worth a read :)

nycgps 06-16-2006 12:13 AM

I thought that the Blitz SC requires a ECU thats why they dont release it in the US ?

IZoomZoomI 06-16-2006 12:18 AM

^ beats me, i've read in japan they've been running a few s/c without any neccesary change/modification with the ecu. Sounds strange, but it's true, power enterprise a japanese tuner that has a location in socal, has been running a supercharger w/o an ecu with a fuel pressure regulator and upgraded injectors for awhile with supposedly no problems. Apparently the stock ecu, runs pig rich from stock allowing the ecu part to be overlooked.

nycgps 06-16-2006 12:20 AM

HMMMMMM .............

thats interesting .....

Fuel pressure regulator and upgraded injectors ..... where can I find those ? I search around but cant find any results !

if thats the case .... maybe I will give it a shot as well !

For the injectors, you can get them from RC Engineering, or go with the secondaries from an automatic (4 port) RX8, those are 490 cc's vs. the 6 speed primary 2's & secondairy units (380 cc's).

therm8 06-16-2006 11:25 AM

I imagine with a roots type supercharger as small as Blitz's, most of your extra needed fuel happens in the lower rpm ranges where there is plenty of injector capacity left over. Thus allowing the use of the stock computer.

Didn't CRH say that you can run a 50 shot of nitrous on the stock computer as well?

I would definately make sure I had some sort of data logging device if I were installing something like this on the stock ecu though.

rotor 06-17-2006 08:25 AM

as i know the sc kit come with a sub computer plug straight to the factory ecu.... which from my understanding is a pre-programmed a/f map. The kit will arrive in 30 days.
