There's a couple shops that bridge port them... There's just not a lot of demand because it's unproven just how beneficial it is... if at all.

I meant at the time I built the race engine, which was a number of years ago now.

Brandonien, where are you taking your engine to be ported/built?

Got ya... BDC did mine last year around this time...
It took me a while to get everything I've needed together, and it's still taking me forever to have the time to just get it done. So it just sits in my garage ready to go in the car... I just hope the engine lasts a while... I'll be a little sad if I only get 5000 miles out of it or something and it breaks something major. Only 1 way to find out...

In response to R.P.M. I'm most likely bringing it to RPM fine auto in Pickering, seems to be the only place that has replied to emails and phone calls... Keeping in mind I'm trying to stay as local as possible due to work limitations...

Brandonien 02-07-2011 03:29 PM

I'm going to feel like such a tool if you work at that shop... :S Anywho, I've checked that thread multiple times and aside from the obvious failure (*could be due to sketch shops working on the engine...*) there are still no dyno results up yet

Brandonien 02-07-2011 04:46 PM

yes I know that, I was just stating... I will keep up on that thread though

RPM fine auto? In Pickering? Are they a Rotary shop?

I've actually never heard of them before. I though you were confused with my shop RPM Motorsports in Kitchener....

Brandonien 02-08-2011 05:22 AM

O.o interesting... perhaps I should look into this, besides I always like to compare and have options :P you may have gained yourself a customer

R.P.M. 02-08-2011 11:30 AM

Well, I would hate for you to take your engine to a no name shop that I've never heard of before, I've been doing Rotary engine porting and rebuilds for over 10 years.

I know the good guys and the hacks in Ontario.

Seems weird that I've never heard of RPM fine autos and thier name is similar to my shop name. hmmmm

Brandonien 02-08-2011 03:48 PM

:P well if you put it that way, and I haven't seen anything regarding them anywhere else, I would have to agree, so march break for me (*march 10th - 21st*) I will be heading down to your shop to get a good look at what you can do :P and to talk about options, I'll PM you when I get a more specific date...

R.P.M. 02-08-2011 04:57 PM

Cool, no problem at all. Let me know when!
