Best placement for a wideband bung on a Greddy kit??
Just getting ready to swap my fresh engine and put the turbo on. I'm looking for the best spot to get the bung on the exhaust manifold that won't inter-fear with anything and will have plenty of space around. Pictures would be great.

Post turbo, a close as you can

I run the bung on the mid pipe for my wideband.

Yes I would think that the close the better even for the secondary WO2
1) Reduce lag time between to gauges 2) Even exhaust coupling away you have a chance of introducing external O2 which will lean out your secondary WO2 3) The closer you get to the exhaust tips the increase chance on introducing external O2 that will lean out your readings as well. Just my 2c |
standard rule is after, but as close as possible to the exhaust manifold/turbo exit point. This is typically far forward on your midpipe.

I have it on my midpipe, vertically on the top right after the header flange ....
