selecting the right turbo is the least of your worries.

yomomspimp06 02-24-2013 09:22 PM

try it and show results. let me repeat that. Actually follow through with this "plan" and show us your results. Thanks

ryang012 02-25-2013 06:57 AM

The fab isn't the issue I live in a small towns tuner for rotary is the problem

paimon.soror 02-25-2013 07:00 AM

like i said ... the choice of the turbo is the least of your worries ...

and assuming you posted in the correct section, and you are the owner of the S2 ... then you have a long depressing road ahead of you.

Looks like it has new plugs oil is clean and no real engine noises. Im going to schedule a compression test at the dealership but I was wondering any opinion from you guys. Starting from the more likely. Car has 84,000 Miles on it now its a 6 spd m/t

much appreciated.

No he doesn't. I'm moving this to the Series 1 section.

ryang012 02-25-2013 06:00 PM

Could you explain why? Sorry, I feel lost idk why. just a simple one.

alnielsen 02-26-2013 11:14 AM

This was originally posted in the section for the S2 model (09+). The options for tuning to accept a turbo installation are limited.

ShawnMua 02-27-2013 06:04 AM

Oh, now I get it. Tnx

ryang012 02-28-2013 06:46 AM

yomomspimp06 02-28-2013 08:03 AM

I'm all for breaking new ground but that's a HUGE turbo. Have you been in the Major Horsepower section yet?

Thats what she said. Haha anyway i'm looking for something that will hit full boost 8-10psi in the upper RPM's And I did look but I haven't seen anyone running that size turbo. The Turbo is like I said twin scroll t4 so it should spool up a few hundred RPM's faster than say a garrett t61 or so - plus it should give off a LOVELY noise at 6,000 rpm...also the manifold is going to be a equal length top mount

....Edit the street racing part out so we can keep this thread open.
you don't have to edit it though if you're just blowing hot air about doing this setup

ryang012 02-28-2013 11:05 AM

Edited and as I said I've purchased the turbo already so backing out is no longer an option

wcs 02-28-2013 11:14 AM

Looking forward to seeing the equal length manifold setup
