I only have 1(engine) light lite. It's not hard at all to use either front cover, and for signals all you need to do is use the stock rx8 crank trigger disk along with it's sensor. I personally use the FD's front cover only because routing the water lines is much easier(for turbo placement). It's actually an easy swap, the only hard part(time consuming) is all the little brackets, turbo piping, and oil filter relocation.

you know--what are the specifics that allow the FD engine to easily make so much more realiable hp than the renesis? Is it just the lower compression rotors, exhaust ports and taller apex seals?
I dont think anyone has really said?

I've seen this 8 a few times, it's slow and usually on fire.

Lol. Jp. This car is a beauty. I haven't had the privilege to look under the hood since he's gotten her back, can't wait. Show does make some nice lines though =].

And lose the strakes!!! Lol

Those guys are one of the few shops we recommend.

Sounds like a To4E based on the power output ?

Awesome Firecran. The car looks clean. The new wheels are a nice touch. How is the car holding up? Do you do a lot of WOT runs with the car? What are you temp like in that Florida heat?

Thanks man!
I love the wheels also! I think they are perfect for the car. Very happy with them.

She holding up great. The only thing ive done was add a Race Roots single tip exhaust. Which helped quiet the car down alittle bit but still has a aggressive tone.
Also i believe that it flows better than the previous duel tip cause after swapping the exhaust she was boosting about 3 more psi so I readjusted the boost controller back down to 16psi.

I've put about 3k miles on her and not one problem. I drive it about 3-4 times a week and beat on it whenever I can. No overheating w/the a/c on in 100 degree Florida heat. She usually ranges between 180-190

Best thing is about this car is everything works like stock she just has more power = super fun car
