3.9 rear diff options?

Does 3.9 miata rear diff fit our rx8 diff box? Other than auto rx7 FD 3.9 rear diff, what other options do we have to lower gear ratio and be as strong or stronger? I don't want to change the entire rear diff... trying to keep things simple for once :) thanks all!

Miata no, LSDs and R&Ps are interchangeable between the FD and RX8
