20G CHRA for Greddy T618Z turbo?

So I need to rebuild turbo on my Greddy kit ( It's filling my intercooler with oil ) I was looking at just buying a new CHRA for it and I found a place that sells a CHRA with a 20G wheel on it for the T618Z but I have to get the compressor housing machined. Does anybody on here have any experience with a 20G wheel in a stock Greddy turbo? Is it worth the effort/money to do it? Any suggestions as to a good shop to do the machine work?

mine did the same thing because there wasnt a restrictor in place.... i pulled the turbo tore it down cleaned everything up and put it back in with a restrictor and it fixed the problem

So you just added a restrictor and cleaned up the mess, no rebuild? What did you use as a restrictor?

i took the turbo out and took it apart and checked everything out inside it cleaned everything up a bit.... cleaned all of the piping and dumped a shit load of oil out of my intercooler..... i used a .46 nitrous injector and it is working no blowing oil and no smoke.... if you want i can pm you my number and i can walk you thru most of it...

Cool thanks alot man. I appreciate the offer on the walk through but I can handle tear down and cleaning no problem. I even considered buying a rebuild kit but I dont feel comfortable disassembling the CHRA without the means to properly rebalance it. Were do you place the N20 injector exactly?

In the top of the turbo where the oil line screws on. It will fit snug with the line screwed on.
