This should answer a few of the questions out there.

1993-00 13b rew engine
Forcefed Racing steet port
Forcefed Racing 3 pin (dowell)
Clearanced rotors (Side ands Face)
Balanced rotating assembly
12a front timing cover with CAS
Forcefed Racing ss exhaust manifold
50 mm hks wastegate
Forcefed Racing downpipe
Forcefed Racing midpipe
Forcefed Racing hot charge pipe (SS)
Forcefed Racing modified upper intake manifold
Forcefed Racing modified lower intake manifold
Fly by wire throtle body Original used.
Forcefed Racing throttle body flange hand fabricated
Engine is mounted in the stock location not to throw the cars distribution out.
Interceptor (Modified and transplanted)
ALL FACTORY EQUIPMENT IS FUNCTIONAL! Even the fly by wire throtle body.
The swap was complete in 2 weeks but Marko was out of the country and could not tune untill he got back.
Turbo system was used off of the old kit and is a little small for the port design of the engine.
A larger turbo will compliment the power 450rwhp (pump fuel)
Marko gave me a package price which was only broken by 500$ for the purchace of a wastegate. The original set up was using factory rew twin turbos.

Nice! And how does she feel?

Violent

The difference between the 8 w/ the PTP kit and this is night and day. It feels soild as a rock and the power is there in an instant. The fuel milage is the kicker. I'm getting around 50-60k more with this setup.

05rex8 11-23-2008 02:50 PM

wow, would love to do this to mine in the future

How is the fuel mileage?

diabolical1 11-23-2008 05:36 PM

this looks pretty nice. 2 weeks, eh? i guess it physically simpler than the 20B swap.

violent? i like the sound of "violent"! i'd ask you to post video, but my blasted sound is out so ... :)

cheeto 11-23-2008 05:52 PM

very nice. i am thinking about this

Dethwalkin 11-23-2008 06:13 PM

Nice....$109 bucks for my muffler being to load. The copper said, "even right now at idle, it's to load."
What ever. I had already driven by and behind four police cars that day with no problem. Some poeple:squint:

cheeto 11-23-2008 06:18 PM

`how much did it cost total?

hondasr4kids 11-23-2008 06:38 PM

How is the car behaving during normal driving? No hick ups or sputtering?

636 11-23-2008 07:26 PM

Raise the boost! :Eyecrazy:

dshiznit1489 11-23-2008 07:34 PM

Total cost?

Rotore_787 11-23-2008 07:35 PM

did you use the factory rx8 mounts?

He already said- 50-60 kilometers extra a tank.

He's in BC

diabolical1 11-23-2008 11:16 PM

question on something that just struck me. why did you guys opt for the Gen II ignition?

G3tR3DDY2GR3DDY 11-23-2008 11:36 PM

where do you see 2nd gen ignition used? i see 12a front cover and CAS..

diabolical1 11-23-2008 11:40 PM

the CAS ...

G3tR3DDY2GR3DDY 11-23-2008 11:42 PM

maybe its gsl-se :P

I wanna know why the rew front cover and rx8 reluctor ring setup wasnt used, and how it was mounted.

diabolical1 11-23-2008 11:44 PM

sorry ... the SE used a distributor. :)

yes, i'm curious about the questions you've mentioned as well.

snowflakes 11-23-2008 11:45 PM

im guessing your using a built FD tranny?

and also, are you using the stock drive shaft and diffs?

Detrich 11-23-2008 11:45 PM

hi rick. u still around i see? what's up?

:)

There are a few things I don't understand, chiefly about your throttlebody, ignition, and front cover setup.

1) You say you are retaining all the stock Rx-8 stuff. How are you using an Rx-8 OMP if you have a 12A front cover? You must be premixing. Are you somehow using the stock Rx-8 PCM without throwing any codes? I see the factory MAF sensor and a modified FD UIM.

2) Why are you using an FC crank angle sensor when the FD one is superior? Did you just wire the G and Ne signal from the CAS to the factory wires for the stock PCM?

3) What ignition coils are you using? FC? If they are FC coil/ignitor assembly, how are you sending the toggle signal to the trailing coils? Ideal ignition setup is FC coils with FD CAS.

4) I understand that in those pictures you are single turbo? Did you have clearance issues fitting a T4 hotside in the engine bay? Is your wastegate recirculated into the exhaust?

5) How did you use a return fuel system with the stock Rx-8 PCM if that is in fact what you are running??

SebtownRx8 11-23-2008 11:48 PM

/golfclap damn son very nice indeed. and yeah ^ what he said you have to be premixing for sure i mean he said it first. but yeah. how son.

G3tR3DDY2GR3DDY 11-24-2008 12:01 AM

well he said he is using interceptor EMS, so thats news to me for my project... will be much cheaper than haltech or even powerfc.

Im sure he could be using premix, otherwise i have no idea.

I would think if he can use the stock wiring harness, maybe he could use rx8 coils? but then that would need the reluctor ring.. if he has CAS i guess hes using FD coils.

by keeping rx8 stuff i think he means keeping PS, ABS, AC...

I just wanna know how the motor is set in the car, and how the interceptor is wired :)
