XCarLink Problems!!!
 

So I ordered the XCarLink because, I bought a grom unit awhile back that didn't work. Yesterday I tried installing it but after I plugged it in back of the radio all the CD's ejected. Also the cd button would not work with the XCarLink plugged in.....also the XCarLink wouldn't even play? Heres the the breakdown on my car its a 07 grand touring with bose and version 9.73 firmware which to my knowledge should work right. Any help would be great because i'm at my wits end with ipod integration......first the grom now this!

No ideas?

hmmm... the XCarLink works fine in my 07 GT w/Bose :dunno:
I'll check my firmware, but I'm pretty sure we're the same...

Is yours a brand new XCarLink? Mine was used

Yea mine is new, I ordered it last week, once the thing is plugged in it loses cd function!

That's exactly what happened when I installed my GROM unit with a bad firmware flash. I rolled the firmware back to it's original version and it worked great after that. Not really sure what else could be the problem, but I'd email them asking for help (good luck, think they're in china).
