XCarLink/Audiolink install help?
 

Hey everyone! For my birthday in June i got an XCarlink so i can finally plug my ipod into my car, something i miss dearly from my O'l 08 escape. I have a 40th anniversary and a couple other guys have them in theirs so im pretty sure it'll work with mine. I love working on cars and am more than willing to install anything, but electronics are not my cup of tea and i really don't like to rip into the interior of my beautiful car without having a good idea of what i have to do. I searched the forum on a few separate occasions and can't find anything with instructions on how to install it. The instructions in the booklet i got with the carlink itself are pretty horrible and i dont understand them. If anyone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Headunit removal is covered right in the FAQ bro. In several places. Even in some of the AUX in options. And.

Tried it...didnt bring anything up that i was looking for. BUT i did get it installed today and it only took about 35/40 minutes. Thanks for the help! Loving the Ipod connection!
