Where to buy OEM shift knob

Hi All!

I`m trying to do a small interior refresh, and want to change out my shift knob to a new OEM S1. I``m having a heck of a time tracking one down - I cant even find a part number. Some searches in the forum turned up a few links, but they were all out of stock with no part number listed.

I was using this interface, but its brutal to navigate and still turned up nothing!

Mazda Parts - Authentic OEM Mazda Parts direct from Jim Ellis Mazda | Jim Ellis Mazda

Anyone have a line on new replacement S1 oem manual shift knobs? Thanks!

Does anyone else find it hilarious that the shift knob is listed as a manual transmission change control system?

Gotta make it sound more important to charge that much

Why is that? Can you get a new one cheaper elsewhere? Or is it just not what you think it should be worth ;)

Is that for the one that lights up?

If I were you, I would try to find one that is in good condition from a part-out. If yours is like mine, and the whole thing is in good shape except for the rotor shaped cap, I would recommend looking for the cap cover from the vendors...

Thanks for the advice. I have wear on my cap and along the thumb-face of the shifter. I was looking at the caps, but I don't see the fit and finish being the same - also worried about longevity. I don't want to get another used one, so I'm left with the option of buying new. After replacement, I'll look at having my original one restored so I won't have to buy another one another 8 years from now.

Any recommendations for who sells the caps? My silver rotor shaped cap has the beginning of some cracking. The rough edge is only annoying so far, but if it cracks further and gives me a slice like a paper-cut I'm going to be really unhappy.
