Whats better then using a Lilliput screen?

I'm wondering if anyone has had the same problem I have with using the Lilliput screen ( model : 629GL-70NP/C/T ) in the factory Nav position, in that it all works fine, but is hopeless on a sunny day. I'm using the screen to run a HKS Camp 2 display and its very hard to read it on a sunny day.
Can someone suggest a better screen that works well in sunny conditions?
Or any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

I'm not overly familiar with the setup, but is there an option of placing it where the head unit goes? Of course you would lose that function though.

I still want the use of the stereo, which has been changed already.
