weird wired leather seat sound?

Got the gt model and it feels like one can tell there are wires in the seat back. Or to say another way the seat seems to make sounds as one applies presssure on the seat back...sort of moving ones body around a bit on the seat.

Just me or are others having this same effect?
Would seem dumb to build a seat with wiring that makes noises are you move around a bit on the seat back and just a weird to design it so one can almost feel the wiring?

Then again it is new some maybe I just thinking this is the case.

thanks

UMM...... lumbar mechanism?? I'm not aware of any noises emanating from the seat, unless the lumbar is the culprit.

Well...
it does not make a sound, rather one can feel that there is something back there in the back of the seat back when you move around a bit in the seat. Maybe it is the seat metal cross frame I'm feeling but if so it is darn thin form pad material mazda is using on this seats I tell you that.

My seat makes all kinds of creaks and groans, especially in turns...I thought my monocoque was going south at first!

Not sure if that's what the OP is talking about...

As best I can figure out this is the story -

1. The factory seat, leather (red/black...could not help myself), heated seats.
2. Seems like there is next to nothing in the way of form built into the seat back. So little in fact that one can feel a bit of the springs/heater wires/horizonal metal frame mid-height on the seat back.

So, anyone that has a 2007 gt model please speak up and let me know if you are encountering the same thing?

Outside of that I love the rx8 thus far. Glad I got the sunroof and am happy with the automatic thus far but trying to keep it under 5k rpm the first 600 miles. Twenty-five to go and I will start to open her up a bit more towards 6k.
