UK Sat Nav Version? Help needed?
 

Hi, I've recently brought a UK 2004 RX-8 high power. I've looked through this forum and cannot find what i need so i thought i'd just ask.

Can somebody tell me what the latest SAT Nav UK version is?
What the latest UK firmware is?
What the latest Maps are?

How to confirm this on my car?

The dealer has told me it was upgraded to the latest version but how do i know?

Hi Nic,

I don't think anyone here can help you, as Euro spec and US spec software is different.

- Most cars have panasonic 2300N units (No matter which side of the Atlantic)
- US firmware and nav discs have recently been upgraded.
- Euro firmware and nav discs have not been upgraded. The latest version should read 2004.
- Never mind installing a US spec upgrade disc in your car, it won't work.

Thanks for the reply, I knew the US version will not work but i was hoping the few UK/Europe ppl here maybe able to help just in case my Sat Nav unit displays the following

How out of date is this? What is the latest UK upgrade and can anybody get it to me or at least a more up to date version (P.S i'm not talking about the map DVD as i know i have to purchase the update direct from Navteq)
