Tweeter wiring!

Just got done installing my new tweeters alongside the bose tweeters (Apparently if you outright replace the bose ones you lose a lot of mids.]
The guide I was following said to install the second set of tweeters AFTER the filter capacitor.
Only problem is there are 3 terminals on the bose tweeter and I don't know what to solder to!

As you can see I guess the red wire is positive. I'm taking a guess that the black terminal I drew after the capacitor is the negative. But whats confusing is why there is a green 3rd terminal before the capacitor! I'd probably figure it out myself with a multimeter but I thought i'd come here as there are a lot of experienced people here who know more than me.

Tweeters are install as such as to point towards the driver and passenger's face.

Thanks

If your tweeters have crossovers, you want to wire them before the capacitor (red and green wires). If not, you want to wire the positive side after the capacitor (the other lug). BUT, wiring 2 tweeters in parallel halves their impedance (assuming they have the same impedance), which is hard on an amp that is already driving a low load. The amp will probably burn out in time.

Seriously, why didn't you just follow the advice in my thread? I did all the math for you and provided the part number for the right tweeters to replace the Bose crap, without creating a hole in the midrange. :dunno:

I didn't know about your post. I've been following this guide: www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-quick-dirty-upgrade-bose-system-30579
