That could be a number of things.
* Check your ground with a digital multimeter to insure that you've in fact got a good ground. * Are you positive that you're not just used to the overwheming amounts of bass that you have? * Did your gain get adjusted somehow on your amp? * I'd check into your battery problem. |
I assume you've tapped into both of your rears for in input.. make sure one of your channels for you inputs hasn't come disconnected. or an RCA is loose or maybe a connection somewhere is shorted together (either where you tapped the rears at the line leveler or the speaker connection to the amp)
A yellow top battery is a DEFINATE good idea.. crappy sub or not. Autozone can get you one the next day they cost about 135 all you have to do is go in there and tell them what car you have. I wouldn't "blame" the battery unless you are getting a noticable power loss throughout the whole car As Bri said it could also be your power or ground connection. Could be coming loose in a connection to the cap or amp or battery.. double check EVERYTHING from front to back make sure EVERY connection is tight and shorted out happy hunting and good luck finding the problem and make sure you post it so everyone will know what to look for. |

In that case then definatly go get another battery whether thats what's causing the subs to suck or not... and then if they still don't work check all your connections like i said
