Sub + Spare Tire?
Hi guys and gals,
Has anyone successfully installed a sub enclosure below the spare tire? are there any options to keep the spare tire plus install either 1 or 2 subs? Thanks in advance!! Maz |
I have the spare and am planning on trying to fit a small sub on the left or right of the more spacey area behind/in front of the spare.

you want what is called a 4080 box -- do a search.. it fits on the left or right of the trunk well -- it would be plenty out of the way of your spare.

hmm...yeah, thats what I was thinking as well.
I really want to fit at least a 10" in there...maybe thats not possible :( will have to do some measuring and see. |

I am a wannabe golfer and the trolley + bag just fit into the boot atm...however I saw an interesting setup with the dual 10's facing the rear seats...that might be the way I will have to go. thanks again! |
Hey if you get a your golf bag, spare tire and sub(s) in the trunk then be sure to post some pics!

 that sounds ominous ;)
for all you audiophiles out there....is there a term that describes the setup in the attached pic? ie. magnets exposed... my thinking is that there is more than enough room for the magnets and the challenge really is trying to get the profile for the enclosure as slim as possible...any downsides with such an approach? |
just got the tape measure out and all I can say is...wow!...there really is no room in our boot :hahano:
looks like the golf game might need to take a back seat  |
