Question Starter Relay Trigger

I'm having some issues with my fog lights dimming when cranking the engine. I want to install a relay to shut them off when I turn the key to the start position. Does any body know a wire that has 12 volts only under cranking? Perhaps the solenoid trigger wire? I'm hoping someone who has done a turbo kit will know.

Wire.....

If you need the starter relay wire, the easiest way to find it is find the clutch switch that prevents you starting until it's depressed.

It is at the bottom of clutch travel, a black switch with a green button and two wires, the 'light green & red' one goes to the starter relay.

Why so concerned with a brief dimming of the fogs? They will be much more damaged by the brief power cut/restore that your new relay will do.....

Thank you! I can't have my fogs dimming during cranking because I upgraded them to HID and it hurts the ballast when the voltage dips. It causes them to turn off and not come back on until I flip the the fog switch off/on again. If the ballast were to cut off all together then they will come back on. Does that make sense?
