I bought one off of Ebay. Only took a week to arrive. Pics are posted. I absolutely love it.

That doesn't look bad at all. Any complicated install work or anything i should be weary of?

No idea. That's why I have installers. :)

fit is not that bad--with a little work it may turn out very well.

It fits very well and made by almost the same plastic as the console. I had only to modify it in the back, to apply the center speaker cover (this console is not for BOSE systems). Soz for the dark image.

That's all stock in Europe (i'm from Italy).

BoosTED 11-18-2006 07:31 AM

That looks decent. I have debated and debated about getting one of those.

I should mold one off of an extra top center piece that I have. Since it isn't set up for Bose, hmmm not sure if I would use the Bose if I installed one of these. Pull all the speakers and install my own audio. That is what I should do. Different story if it is for Nav though.

olddragger 11-18-2006 12:22 PM

its ok but a little too square for me--speaking about gauge installation. Works wel for audio etc though.

how much was that kit...and how much was total install on your system looks like $1g in your dash

ARCTiC 11-21-2006 05:40 PM

Me? There's "nothing" on my dash.. the much is on my trunk. Anyway around $1500 for eveything (PC and various interfaces and devices plus; i did the installation myself).

lesper4 11-21-2006 08:07 PM

i like all these dash kit options and soem are pretty good looking but i think this would look a lot better if the stereo location was set back more to follow the contour of the dash. yeah it does look good but a little flat for our pretty dsah.

no if you were to have the Bose in your car but if you don't use the center speaker can the kit still fit? or is there some sort of space requirement that having the center speaker would limit?

Bump on his question plz?

SiCkRx-8 02-20-2008 02:20 PM

As far as I read, most people just cut the kit to fit that speaker. Its not that hard to do, you just need a dremel. but if you take that speaker out you would be alright too, but why would you want to lose a speaker?

Fortunate Few 02-20-2008 04:33 PM

not my style but it looks good in the dark.

I have already replaced all my speakers and removed all three Bose amps and, as a result, no longer have that center channel working anyway. so i really wouldn't care if I had to take it out.

KaLiKoStreet 03-14-2017 02:33 PM

I'm very interested in this. Where did this come from. Anyone have a link to where to buy this?

This thread was started 11 years ago.

Davey's RX-8 06-12-2018 12:23 PM

Just got a PM asking me if I was selling my dash from this thread. Seriously, dumbass? This was TWELVE FREAKING YEARS AGO.

ARCTiC 06-12-2018 02:21 PM

Why dumbass? If the guy is offering enough (thousands!!!)... I could sell mine, I still have it! :D
