RX8 Dice and Iphone 5
 

Hi Guys

I just got myself a 04 RX8 after a garage tried to flog me a lemon I dodged a bullet there I just cant buy any other car.

OK to my question It's a 04 8 with a dice ipod integration kit, it currently works well with my iphone 4, I can flick through songs from the wheel and all that. I want to get the iphone5 (its a free upgrade) I know that I'll need to buy an adaptor for the new iphone 5 connector but I'm worried that it wont work with the car kit?
I dont see any info anywhere to say they it would or wouldn't work ok with it?

Hasn't been answered and I don't think anyone, even DICE, knows yet.

Yea your right I'll just get my hands on one to test and dice are no help so far.

For audio only, you should be able to use the "lightning to 30 pin adapter (0.2M)" or the "Lightning to 30 pin adapter" to allow use of the iPhone 5 with the Dice (or the Grom or PAC or other) Aux adapter.

For those of us with a video deck, the outlook is not so promising, as the lightning to 30 pin adapters do not support video, and there are not lightning to composite video adapters (yet).

Your best bet right now is to purchase an adapter from somewhere that will accept returns if it does not work and try it out.
