RX8 Audio Upgrade
One thing I never see on the rx8 when I go to shows, is a modified audio system. Nobody even has subs in their car. Well, after debating with myself on whether or not to keep my 8 for a long time, I finally gave in and got myself Subs, an amp, and a 7 inch touch screen. Bout 700 for the jvc screen, another 700 for the Rockford fosgate amp, 350 for 2 12" alpine type R's and another 500 for the installation at best buy. Pics to come :)

^Sweet setup dude, a little excessive, but sweet setup. That would be total over kill for my style of music.
I went with a more basic approach. Kept the bose for the tweeters. Put in a Rockford amp to run new Kenwood 6.5"s for the door, new Kenwood 6x9's in the rear, 2 6.5" mini kicker subs in the back seat floor boards, and 2 rockford 10's for the trunk. I put a whole the size of a 6.5 in that back plastic where you put two speakers and mounted a 6.5" speaker grill to look OEM that allows the lows from the subs to dispearse better. It's a really good setup for heavy metal, and double bass drums. |
bcdjudo7 I pm'ed you a question
