Replacing information display
 

mine died, picked up a new one and was just wondering if i was going to have to remove the radio to get the top part of the dash off the replace it if i was missing something on how to take the top part of the dash off?

If you dont mind me asking where did you get your replacement? I need one as well.

I went to a Mazda dealership to ask what was wrong, they sent me to talk with their head mechanic who owned an Rx8 and he had a spare he sold me for 20 bucks.

Yes. You must remove shifter, then the radio and then start working your way up the dash.
