Removing CD Player

I just purchased an oem MP3 player I was wondering if it will be hard removing the middle console? How do u remove it?

ZoomZoomH 12-21-2004 05:22 PM

did you buy the mp3 player new or used? I have the installation instruction for the tape deck that I bought new (which includes instruction on how to remove the OE head unit), would you like a copy of it?

ZoomZoomH 12-21-2004 05:23 PM

slllygrl10 12-21-2004 05:38 PM

you bought a tape deck? that means you still have the trim that goes over the tape the one without the hole?

slllygrl10 12-21-2004 05:39 PM

thanks are you going to post it here? I want try to do it tonight

ZoomZoomH 12-21-2004 05:39 PM

lol why, do you want that too?

ZoomZoomH 12-21-2004 05:44 PM

why you need that plastic trim (which i do have)? do you have a tape deck and want to remove it?

slllygrl10 12-21-2004 05:44 PM

I need it I have a cassette and I want to remove the unit I dont want it so I need the trim to put there.

slllygrl10 12-21-2004 05:45 PM

You installed a cassette yourself?

ZoomZoomH 12-21-2004 05:58 PM

the dealer installed it for me free of charge :p

i'd suggest keeping the tape deck there just because it's already there, the center dash actually looked kinda dull with that plain piece of plastic :o

but I can scan the removal pages from my installation manual and post it here later tonight (like 9-ish, I have to go do my christmas shopping tonight :o )

slllygrl10 12-21-2004 06:05 PM

Well I'll try yanking it in a bit here just post it just incase I run into problems
