Recommendation on 4 channel amps that are 2ohm stable when bridged...

So I'm in the market for a new amp and since I have been out of it for quite some time I need some recommendations for 4 channel amps that are 3ohm stable when two of the channels are bridged.

So far I have the Boston Acoustics GT-40 and JL Audio 300/4 amps in mind. Anyone else have any recommendations - I'm budgeting around $250.

I need 4 channels to drive one pair of components and 1 DVC sub with dual 6ohm voice coils.

dual 6 ohm coils? what brand sub is that? most 2/4 channel amps r 2 ohm stable when bridged, so 3 ohm should b very stable and safe. i think what u mean if u put a 3 ohm load on the 2 channels bridged it must b stable, that would make it a 1 and half ohm stable amp. u obviously want to connect the sub in parallel. if u can't find a amp 2 play constantly reliabley with that load, im sure u could get enough bass if u series the sub. 12 ohm bridgd on a 4/2 ch amp the amp will b playing @ 6 ohm's. not 2 far from spec, 4 ohms... b interesting 4 me 2 if u can find the amp 2 do the job at the ohmage u want. hope i've been of help. :)
