Quick question
 

Just exploring my options here..if I get the Metra Kit and install an aftermarket stereo, will I still have 5.1 sound? I currently have the factory Bose system. Thinking of upgrading jus the head unit now with speakers and amps later. Ideally I would like to replace all speakers and add a low profile subwoofer in the trunk. I do like the center channel speaker and was wondering if it's better to keep the stock head unit or would I still be able to use it effectively with an aftermarket system?

While there is a center channel speaker, it's not a 5.1 setup. There is no separation in signal being sent.
