Q regarding amp.

Hi, all.
As we know, bose system suck big time. So I changed 4 speakers w/o amp:2 front w/ NX30 from Image Dynamic, 2 rear w/ DTE 169 from MB Quart. It surely sound better than stock bose system. But still I do not get good high or low...
So I am just about add sub in space between rear seat.
At this point, I am thinking to get either mono amp only for sub or 3 or 5 channel amp and supply to both sup and 4 speakers. My question is if I hook up amp w/4 speakers, does it improve the qeality of sound or it just make bigger sound?

Thanks in advance.
Have a nice day.

It probably still doesn't sound that good because your bose amps are, I'm assuming, running a 4 ohm load now as opposed to .5 in the front and 2ohms in the rear. So they aren't supplying much power now. Your 2nd question is a little vague, if it's a 2 channel amp running 4 speakers you will get more power but also more distortion because you'll be running at 2ohms. Less resistance = more power but also more distortion.

Thanks Mezzer.
Just to make sure I understand your answer I need to ask....
So, in your opinion, my best bet would be using 5 channel ?
What I aiming to do is make sound clear and tight.
So, does adding amp. w/ each channel to each speaker make sound better or just make sound louder?
Ps. I already changed stock bose speakers with NX30 and DTE 169...

Thanks.

I would use an aftermarket amp for every speaker you have, doesn't have to be a 5 channel. I'm just waiting for my stuff to get delivered but I got 2, 3 channel amps. One for fronts and a sub and one for rears and 2nd sub. I figured using the Bose amps would be a waste of time so I'm not even going to try to use them. I don't know that for sure but I think it's a fair assumption.
