p.i.e. adaptor
 

I recently installed the p.i.e. adaptor for my tv, couldn't take the fm mod anymore. It has sound for about 30 sec and then goes out and have to press the cd button again. I know this part is for a alp changer so i think its flashing because its trying to look for a cd in the changer which I don't have. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the firmware version of your head unit?

I have no idea. It does have the cd changer controls. Its a single cd player bose system.

Power the radio on, then press and hold the text and preset 1 buttons at the same time (you might need to start pressing the text button slightly before the preset 1 button). The Software version should be in the display. '04 vers. 9.40/9.50/9.53/9.55

I just read the thread thew posted about the firmware upgrade, obviously i have an older version. Thanks for the help, I probably would of sent the adaptor back.
