A nutty idea for audio nuts...
does anyone who's a 7 guy remember all that room in the back the depressions for the rear seats, or "storage bins", the FC's had?? if you don't, once the garbage is removed, you can fit one helluva box and two 10's and an amp/capacitor back there easily, whilst increasing the surface of the flat cargo area (if your speakers are adequately protected)...
who thinks that the 8 would make a good sound-off car with the rear seats cannibalized?? :D <-evil evil evil... you could have a pair of every size you can think of, four amps in the trunk, tree alternators stickin' out of your hood... whoa yeah baby!! ;) ha ha ha!!:D |
I had an '86 sport, which meant that it was a two seater. Although some models had storage bins in that area, mine didn't have anything. You could install two enclosures with at least 1.5 cu ft of space, and 12" subs in that area, without taking up any extra space.
I wouldn't think that replacing the seats altogether would be necessary. Take a look at some of the pictures of the trunk, there is plenty of room back there to put in a mega-sound system w/o major re-construction. ---jps |
But where would you put your 2 golf bags?
|
If I remember the pictures correctly, the golf bags fit in across the back of the trunk. There is enough room to put plenty in under the rear deck, just behind the seats, and still have space for the golf clubs.

I was just being sarcastic.

Well, ya fooled me then. I didn't get that it was actually supposed to be funny ;)

BLAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
freking, that would be SICK, but ugly as crap. 2 subs and an amp, maybe more speakers 2500 WELL TUNED watts MAXIMAL 1k per sub maximal. that is why bose can SOMETIMES sound GREAT despite the REALLY wimpy power ratings, good tuning. ________ ASIAN FACIAL |
