Seriously though.. why do you have so many wires? Are they for the amp? gauges?

Thommino 08-25-2008 03:42 PM

How did you connect Bose Sound System to multimedia device (monitor)?

the wires are for the suround sound kit, the tv unit, the playstation, the card reader, the handsfree kit, the 3extra amps, the use reader, and the 3 cameras i have hehe. The gauges came 2 month after.

very east, you can buy 1 box to go between the wires and then buy a box tonwire in for the aircon and heating to work.

the controls for the aircon and heating are built in to the mazda stereo ;-)

Thommino 08-25-2008 05:43 PM

Did you buy corksport kit? (Both bose and steering kit)?

rollerbldes 08-25-2008 09:13 PM

The steering kit for corksport/kanatech is a joke. Anyone with a brain should not have to use it.

MICKY 3 08-26-2008 01:44 AM

steering kit???? thats a no no. taking the buttons off the steering wheel ;-)

Micky, how much was the whole setup. since i'm technically inefficient how much do you think an audio shop would charge?

Stereo shop will not do it mate, trust me i looked in to it. it took 4 hour's alone to do the kit. I PM my phone number for you and the full lot cost about £500 to put in kit only by yourself.

Because it sucks and was designed by a monkey without a brain. You're much better off buying a PAC SWI module.

I'm trying to buy from this site http://www.nexxia.co.uk these components to integrate steering control and bose sound system:
PC99-X46 Mazda 6/3/RX8 Multistalk £24.67 £24.67
PC2-36-AMP ISO to RCA Line in Adaptor £16.98 £16.98
PC9-451 Amplifier Adaptor 4 channel ISO £16.59 £16.59
PC99-JVC JVC Adaptor Lead £4.67 £4.67

I think they are right

god thats beautiful lol. although I admit I am scared to death to even think about how hard that is to do. Im not bad with stereo installs, but this mazda setup is mind boggling to me.

It is so easy to do, but takes time. There is a shed load of space behind the dash for all the other bits too. you can not see any wires in my car or 1 thind out of place. And it still sounds great!
