new piano black voodoo knob and shift boot installed!

just thought id share pics of my latest mods. Bought a piano black voodoo knob and shiftstyle shift boot in black alcantera with black stitching. the shift boot looks way better than stock and took a short time to get shipped to me. got it from www.shiftstyle.com

the shift knob feels great and fits much better in my hand then the stock knob.

here are some pics of the results, feel free to post pics of your own shift knob/shift boots as well!

looks great, nice photography.

i am definitely going with a shiftstyle boot and was heavily considering a voodoo shift knob... mazdaspeed is getting a bit old :)

i like the boot, but i went with my old SE-R knob off my old nissan. it has a pretty little red r for reverse and weighs next to nothing. itll satisfy me until i have money to just throw around

I've been thinking about geting one of those.

Sure looks nice.

I have almost the same combo... orange stitching...

I echo the comments, great mod. Except the knob gets HOTTTT on hot summer days. I put a crown royal bag over it...

Yep, VooDoo is the way to go. Got mine even before I got the car! Don't know what Mazda designers were smoking; a triangular shift knob?

I like the boot; the soft material makes a nice combo.

I was a member of the "Miataville" SIG on Compuserve back in the early '90s and participated in the discussion thread that led to development of the VooDoo knob. It's nice to see that it's still out there. Thanks, Bob Krueger, wherever you are.

Yup, VooDoo is the way ta go! Voodoo Bob is a buddy of mine and always does amazing work. I am a long time Miata guy (15 and counting) and I always make certain that a Voodoo knob is the 1st thing I get! I just got one for my 8 (pearl finish) and it looks great! Not too mention it matches the factory silver trim on the center console perfectly!
