neons.... ladies and gentlemen FLAME ON!(also sub plans...)
 

right now is about 8 am and my car is going to the shop to get my underbody neons interior neons and pilet (sp) switches installed. could take all day or 2 hours... we'll see! and for those who have seen my other thread my system plans completeeeeeeeely failed lol so debating to use what i have.... 1 10w6v2 and 500/1 amp or sell it to get 2 3w6v2 with my 500/1 amp... any opinions... its been a hassle to keep on purchasing subs.amps and all and im getting kinda fed up any one have an idea to how i can install 1 sub nicely? my intentions were to get the fiberglass enclosures but they turn out to be 300 a piece and well.. that would mean my whole system would be about 2g and i figured i could by alot more things with that..
any opinons on the subs?

2 grand for a sub?
4080's box, an amp, + sub should run you about 600$
(It varies on what kind of woofer and amp you get)
Mine is a cheap Sony 80$ and works great!
Amp is an Alpine mono subwoofer amp....
As for Neon, each his own....

yeah my initial set up... 2 500/1 jl amps total 650 2 10w6v2 400 2 4080 sub boxes 600+grills 50 then dynomat and installation. yeah. its up there.

You can always start with 1 box, and later do number 2,
It will split your expenses in half and you will be more then impressed with 1 box.

the thing is i dont wanna blow that much on just a system... im a greedy man i want more stuff for my car!!! lol and IMO one would look funny how i want it set up...

yeah i was playing poker last night and a bit occupied im gonna take some pics of the set up in about an hour and more when it gets darker so you can see the neons... wonder if you can see them now.... hmmm

opps my mother took my camera with her... she went to europe for buisness... i guess tuesday..... damn..

Yea I caught that. My stereo install is already near $11K, and I'm not done yet. That's why I said you got off light. Good luck with whatever decision you make tho.

$11k!!! Sir, either you are getting bamboozled on prices, or you are not installing/fabbing the stuff yourself.

I am certainly not fabbing/installing anything myself, that's for sure. That is not where my particular skills lie. I can fly a helicopter tho. :D

Might be a little late, but 12" Cold Cathode Tubes run cooler than conventional neon tubes and are $7/pair... (interior use only).
