nav hood
 

hey every one im new to the forum but i have a question that ive done alot of research on.

my 8 didnt come with nav and i have a screen but i want the dash hood replacement so is there a place or site that i can get the oem dash hood for the lcd/nav ive found one but its like 400 witch seems a little pricey for a piece of plastic so if any one could help id appreciate the help thanks

The only other place to get it cheaper is MAYBE through a salvage yard. You're looking at $1,500 to get the upper nav portion from Mazda.

I got lucky and found someone selling it for $300, I bought it instantly for use with my carpc. There was an eBay auction yesterday for the upper nav console with the drive and stuff.. the auction ended at $850. These things are very hard to come by and apparently are in demand, it's all about getting lucky. If I were you I would fork down the $400.
