Nav help - Deleting "marked points"
 

Just picked up my RX-8 and had a few questions regarding the Nav.

-Is there a way to delete some of the "marked points" in the menu? My car came with a few programmed in from the dealer that I'd like to get rid of...

-Is there a shortcut key to program my "Home". Like a hotkey you can press to navigate home from any point.

-My car seems slightly off position on the map. I notice it especially at intersections. Seems like it's slightly behind where it should be. It's not a delay... since it never catches up to itself. For example, if I'm stopped DIRECTLY at the intersection light... it shows my car a few hundred feet back. It's caused to question my position a few times, and miss my turn.

Second Question -->
I have my home as a Marked Point, BUT I didn't change the name on it to "home". Why? Well, if someone were to steal my car, I don't want them also knowing where my house is! I mean, they'll have the garage door opener, after all!

Third Question -->
That only happens to me when the system has trouble hooking up with the GPS satellites...like when in a narrow canyon, a tunnel, a parking garage, that sort of thing. It eventually corrects itself. If yours is ALWAYS like that, take it to the dealer!
