I know I have seen the lights under neath the car that look really cool but can not remember what they are called. Was wondering if anyone knew if they were legal in Texas too.

underbody kit, underglow kit. check out streetglow and varad for some nice kits. actually shinka213 has a kit fs just search her threads and you will find.

 

Underglow kits.... I enjoy mine... It's illegal in Jersey to drive with and pass inspection... I usually use it when I blast music chilling with my friends... I mean the 25bhp and 10ft/lb of torque is a plus... just kidding

 

Good for show cars but I wouldn't use them on the street, it screams rice

Why do you think Rice? I have seen them before on other cars and if it matches the cars colors on a nice car, I wouldn't think it was rice.

 

Underglow is just a mod that most people think makes a car look "cheap". It's up there with slapping on decals and fake antennas.

Show cars use them to draw attention to all the great work that's been done to the car, ricers use them because they had 20 bucks and 30 mins to waste.

 

I didn't think underglow kits were cheap, aren't they expensive to setup especially if you want the ability to turn them on and off via switch in car.

 

you can get cheap ones off ebay but the real kits and the good kits like streetglow and varad go for about $300 easily.

 

I'd rather waste that 300$ at a titty bar.

 

Cool on show cars...... cheesy as hell on a daily driver.

you can pass nj inspection.. i went to get my car inspected and they played with my switches... what do you know they turned on my underbodys.. i still passed they the paper work just noted that i had them and if i am caught i think i have to removed them... but then again i NEVER use them.. from the 3-4 years ive owned them on my car... i used em MAYBE 15 times.. 5 for pics 10 for ***** and giggles when i first got them put on and thought i was aweso cool..
