iPod input?
 

So let me get this straight. The Bose stereo/nav system has an iPod input available, but you still have to buy an adapter to control your iPod through the stereo system? I thought there would be a USB input to plug in the iPod. Well, at least I have Bluetooth audio.

yes exactly these can be bought cheap for like 120 dollars on ebay, you will need 1.5 hours to install.

You can also buy them from your local Mazda dealership. I had one on my last 8, and it was cool because I could use the head unit to control it. I didnt like that I basically had to memerize where everything on my Ipod was, though, so I didn't buy one for this 8. I'd rather save up and buy a Metra kit and make everything user friendly (touchscreen:naughty:)
