Ipod Help

I have a 40gb Ipod and was looking into hooking it up with the icelink plus. Do you guys know if it will work? All the sites say 4g, mini, and so on. Is the 4g fourth gen. or 4 gb? Thanks for the help.

4G is 4th gen. All iPods with dock connectors will work with the icelink systems.
