just for future reference, here's how to find a person's threads.

nice pics... but how did the rears hook up to the existing Bose amp? I really do like your setup... pics are worth a thousand words!! VERY NICE!!
-Josh Mine will have to be setup this way just due to cash on hand right now but i will be using the Infinity's probably.... |
any advice? anybody? I did a search but some were more vague than others on how to hook them up to the stock Bose amp........ :/
|
Disconnect the stock speakers, cut the wires, install new terminals and connect to the new speakers. The speaker wires are already where they need to be, no need to even worry about the amp.

I think you misunderstood Mr. Jstklntm - he meant "just hook the wires from the amp to your new speakers".
.....and don't worry about the amp. So, now who's silly? S |
you start to go fucking yourself silly, nasty and unbelievable fucking stupid and just get the fuck out of this forum.
|
I don't even know who that was aimed at, but you are seriously close to a time-out, yenphi.......

no... I understand .... simply put hook the wires up to speaker.... easy put....!!
Anybody know the amps going to the speakers once i get them in there? I think the minimum for the infinity i have my eye on have a minimum of 10 or something... So i should be ok i think You all have eased my mind.... with a little KY Jelly I'm going to get this done :mdrmed: :mdrmed: hahaha thanks felas |
Any 2 ohm 6x9 speaker is a perfect drop in replacement for the Bose rear deck speakers, just use the existing wiring harness and off you go. I've got a set of infinity speakers as well (i got the 2 ways), and they make the sound a lot cleaner, but I didn't notice more range or bass response from them. I suspect I'll get more oomph out of them when i get my Arcaudio amp powering everything.
You can replace the rear deck speakers in an hours time. Be careful removing and instaling the rear deck covers. you can bend/ break retaining clips, or just not get them back into place right and they'll rattle terribly. |
yea... i'll just take my time.... i don't want to mess anything up.. I honestly doubt i would since i do have a lot of patience
Thanks.... -Josh |
I give up!!
|
give up on....? dude I understand how to........ i even used the search function a little more..............
|
First of all, stop putting so many F'ing periods in your posts. I can't understand what the F you are trying to say, so I'm pretty sure nobody else can either. Try using complete sentences and maybe the responses will be more complete. Then if you don't understand something, ask for clarification instead of asking if someone is F'ing silly. I may be silly, but I do know how to hook up some stupid speakers to a stock amp. I also wear big red shoes, a purple afro and can honk my nose.
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!! |
