How do I move the rearview mirror on its track?

I've read some posts where its indicated that the rearview mirror can be moved along its track further up (or down) the windshield. Anyone know how to do it?
Thanks

All I know is that there is a "double-joint" in the arm of the mirror. The second joint, which is closer to the windshield, allows you to raise or lower the mirror slightly.
