Yes I can help. Place unit in trash can immediately. It will not help you do anything at all. Its a useless annoying light show.

Without knowing at least what brand you bought, I don't think anyone can help.

What name brand and model is the sensor?

Therum Feb 14, 2011 05:58 PM

Exactly. Two wires are gonna be for the heater circuit and the other two are for the sensor. Which one is which i couldn't tell you. If you have a multi meter my guess would be that the pair of wire that has the least resistance should be the actual sensor. But that is an guess. Now that i think of it. Search o2 sensor eliminator and you may find some helpful info. Its been a while since i built one i don't think i still have the schematics. Im currently at my daughters dance class. When i get home i will look through my backups and see

Ok I found it. But it doesn't help much. Except I was incorrect. The sensor wires Ground and Signal form the sensor should read higher than the 2 heater wires. But still. you need to get the diagram for the sensor that you bought. After that it will be really easy to probe the sensor while its in the car to figure out which wire is which.
