help: engine feedback in speakers?

I have engine feedback (whistle) in my speakers. Is it a bad ground, and if thats not it, what else could cause it. Brainstorming, trial and error peeps.

Most likely to be ground loops...try using ground isolators.

Did you just recently install or have something installed? Or did it just come out of no where?

I have had an amp running two 8's, but recently installed another amp to run my 6x9 and 61/2's, and thats when the feedback became noticable. I feel its my ground, but any other ideas would help narrow it.

Where have you located the speaker cables relative to the power supply cable for the amps?

If they are too close together, you will get engine noise.
Try to space them as far apart as possible.

I bought a ground loop isolator at good ol' Walmart, that should do the trick, if not, I'll be back for more suggestions.
