Help with 10.01 firmware

I have a 2007 rx8 with the 10.01 firmware. Is there anyway I can connect it with my ipod. Can I change to an older version firmware.

look into DICE kit, they just came out one that emulate SAT to work with SAT HU, maybe it will work for you. Also support TEXT
