Finally installed Dension IceLink
 

I know it's nothing too fancy, but it was my first mod on the RX8 and I was really proud of it. Hehe. Damn audio places around here were telling me wrong directions and were asking me for $120 when I found much easier DIY's here. :)
I took some pictures to show where I hid my Ipod. I placed it on the bottom left corner of the driver seat. Right below where all the alarm stuff are. The display does work and all the controls are working fine. :)

Babo, man, how you gonna put new songs on the iPod now?? You're gonna have to take that panel out each time? Haha. Dork. :) Good job though. Can't wait to see it.

hey babo...when you plug in your ipod, will you tell us what version software of the dension you have. Under dension mode mine is a piece of shit, but when i'm in user mode, all is well. i have lag in the steering wheel controls and the console panel when i'm in dension mode and it pisses me off. also my cd player is version 9.55. what version is yours?

yeah i have the same version as you. it seems that i have a very slight lag. i found out that if i put it on random mode and try to change to next track, i can feel some lag on the ipod. let me try to check what version software it says. my cd player version is 9.55 as well.
