Dual Sub DVC question --

These are kinda newb questions but I'm about to build a new box and get a second DVC sub -- so I got some questions that I can't figure out what is the BEST way.

First in a box with 2 10's is it better to put a divider between them? or leave it out for more airspace. I was going to play it safe and put it in anyways.. but it may be better without it.. I thought i would ask

and if I'm going to hook up 2 DVC subs with 4 Ohms per coil- I want to have a 4 Ohm load on my amp

So would it make any difference if put both of the coils in series on each sub and then put the subs in parallel or the other way around?

So its basically a decision do I want my subs seeing an 8 ohm load or a 2..

What do you guys think?

some subs sound better with seperate enclosures, some subs it doesnt matter. though you should at least have some bracing internally so the box doesnt flex (much)

as to wiring the subs, it doesnt matter either way, as it is what the amp sees that counts. usually when doing the series parallel, we series the coils and parallel the subs. that way the power coming from the amp has 2 pathways, allowing more power to get to the subs, otherwise, you would only have one path to the sub, and would have to run bigger speaker wire to accomodate the power
