Droid to rx8?

hello, I seen someone on here have a 2.5mm jack connect directly to the antenna port. this sound exactly like what I want. except I need a 3.5mm. tried googleing it. can't find it. anyone got suggestions?

search for aux mod

everybody is doing the soldering and the rca stuff. I want a direct 3.5mm to antenna wired fm modulator...... hate being told to search. there's 20 threads of options I DON'T want.....

fm modulator is going to sound horrible. they all do compared to a direct line in. i'd really suggest getting an after market HU and using the blue tooth of the droid to steam music to your radio. that's what i do in my 8 and i love it. turn on the car, fire up slacker radio on the droid and have commerical free music the whole time.

if all you care about is an audio jack, then get a car2pc module or grom adapter. there are plenty of 2.5 to 3.5mm cables and the sound will be perfect. just don't expect to be able to control it through the head unit

yea I've been looking more and more .... people do complain about sound quality.... aaahhhhh I hoped it would be that simple.... guess I really need a new head unit....

you do...? did you not read what i posted? :dunno:

first of all, there's no such thing as an antenna port, unless you consider the port that the actual antenna plugs into. second, i don't know why the other poster would suggest the aux mod, when that is a years old mod that people did prior to the development of the other products i mentioned, which are plug and play, and do EXACTLY what you want with no sacrifice in sound quality.
