My drivers side window does not go down but the drivers side switch for the passenger window works fine. The dealer says the whole switch needs to be replaced. has anyone taken this part apart? Can I just replace the drivers window switch or do I have to replace the whole thing? Thanks.

 

if you need the switch, let me know. I have the assembly sitting in my living room. The switch can be seperated from the rest of the harness by the harness clip. Takes only a few minutes.

 

Cool, how much? Any chance you could sho wme what you are talking about. I found the whole assembly on ebay but i was wondering I needed the whole piece including the piano black part.

 

well for just a switch you would pay probably 15-20 dollars or for a whole switch assembly you could pay about 30-40 so depends how tight you are on money to see if its really worth it to tear apart a whole assymbly and yours and swap them out to save a few bucks- if bro above me doesnt sell you his i got some extras to for that 30-40 dollar price.
