Do all 8's equipt with Bose have 6 disc CD?
 

I just bought my 8 and picked it up tonight. I thought when I bought the car it had the 6 disc CD option but when I went to load more than one CD I couldn't. It says to hold the "load" button until it beeps then add the cd but when I hold the button down with a cd already installed nothing beeps. Did I get hosed on the stereo??? Do I only have a single disc CD? I'll be pretty pissed cause they assured me when I bought the car it had the 6 disc changer.

your dealer is an idiot...go back and tell them you didn't get one then if they wine just tell them you'll settle with the mp3 player (which is better AND costs less...forget the 6 disc...the mp3 one shows song titles through id3 tags and such)

in canada, the GT comes with the 6 CD changer as standard equipment.

check to see if your CD player has "6 disc in dash" or something to that effect on the panel in REALLY small print ...

at least in america, they all come with a single cd player. The 6 cd changer is an optional item - which if you're buying afterwards, consider getting one from another rx8 board member. Many people sell off their 6 cd changers to get the mp3 player.
