complete instructions on istalling dvd with metra kit

ok so heres the scoop i have an 06 shinka. I also have the metra kit I am wanting to replace the factory bose stereo with my aftermarket pioneer navi/dvd player. I took the car to my dealer that i bought the car from and they seem to lack any intellegence on what they are doing. I also am considering taking it to Best buy where i purchased the dvd player to see if they can install it for me. I guess what im looking for here is like a complete instruction on what all is needed to accomplish this installation. I have installed many many stereos in older cars but the rx8 seems to be very in depth with the HID display and integrated heater/ ac controls.

Is there a step by step with pictures instructions on this out of curiousity if so where can i find this ive been searching for three hours. lol THANKS!

Too many steps involved for someone to write out a complete DIY I've found. You just have to dig in and not be afraid to go without music for a few days.

The kit itself comes with pretty decent instructions, about 99.9% of the dealers out there are not going to help you mod your ride so I wouldn't even bother with them. Where'd you get the kit from? If you bought it locally then try going back to where you bought it and have them help you, seriously though, if you have a decent set of tools it's really not that hard at all, only thing that's really tricky is the infamous "bolt", but the directions with the kit tell you about it, and plus there's a million threads on here about it. Just take your time, be careful, follow the directions with the kit and you should be good to go, I'd recommend disconnecting your battery while doing everything as well. :)

I installed my pioneer avic-f90bt using the metra kit with no problems at all. I had no experience when it came to car audio either. It took awhile. The instuctions tell you everything you need to know. Just take your time.

Was this on a Bose or non-Bose system. I also have the same headunit and Metra kit sitting here at home and the only part that has me dumbfounded is how to integrate it into the Bose system.
