i know this is probably a common question but i searched a whole lot and got lots of useful information, but no answer...

Is there ANY way possible to reprogram the HU to have text for either aux or cds?

 

CD-text on music CDs is displayed by the mp3-CD unit which also displays ID-3 info in mp3 files. Other than that, the display can show the satellite song info from Sirius. It displays AUX-1 or something when playing thru a PIE adapter. Look at ICE-link for some more display options but nothing else I know about.
